| About me / us: | Our organisation is called Sediba Tshepo Counselling and Training(Hope fountain or Fountain of hope in English). We provide psychosocial and development support to individuals, groups and organisations in response to the trans-generational traumas, human rights abuse and the denial of development opportunities which have led to dysfunctional patterns of behavior, inadequate support and coping mechanisms. These challenges are further aggravated by the negative impact of HIV. Our interventions provided through training, counselling, mentoring, development support help to release energy and other internal resources to facilitate hope, growth and development to one's full potential. |
| Why 1%MEMBER: | We rely on partnerships to expand our reach, increase impact, share resources, good practices in support of sustainable development. We have developed a partnership with Ubuntu Theatre Organisation which is helping to raise funds for a drama and theatre project for orphans and vulnerable children in Alexandra, a very poor settlement in Johannesburg, South Africa. |
