| About me / us: | In 2004 hebben we in Oeganda 6 maanden onderzoek gedaan naar de impact van het gebruik van een fiets op arme vrouwen op het platteland van Oeganda. Na terugkomst hebben we stichting Cycling out of poverty opgezet om geld in te zamelen voor deze fietsprojecten. Inmiddels is het uitgegroeid naar meerdere landen in Afrika. Marieke heeft een achtergrond in ontwikkelingssamenwerking, Luuk in economie en marketing, waardoor Luuk onze Afrikaanse partners ook aanspoort om vooral ook te kijken naar mogelijkheden om lokaal (in Afrika) fondsen te werven. |
